Bio

Rachael Moore Perry is passionate about representing clients in both family law and criminal defense matters. She believes that the most rewarding aspect of practicing law is the opportunity to help people through some of the most difficult moments in their lives. As Rachael explains, “The people are the very best part of this job – it’s what made me choose this career. Obtaining the best result possible for someone during a difficult time in their life brings me personal and professional satisfaction.”

After graduating from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2010, Rachael began her public service career as the City Clerk for the City of Carbondale. She later practiced in the area of insurance subrogation before joining the McLean County State’s Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State’s Attorney. This experience provided her with valuable courtroom and trial experience in criminal matters and a thorough understanding of the legal system from the prosecution’s perspective.

In 2019, Rachael transitioned into private practice, focusing on criminal defense, family law, divorce, traffic matters, and orders of protection. Her experience on both sides of the courtroom allows her to effectively advocate for her clients while developing practical legal strategies tailored to each individual case.

In 2023, Rachael founded RMP Law Office in Bloomington, Illinois. In January 2026, she partnered with Jennifer Patton to form Patton Moore Perry Law Office.

Rachael currently represents clients throughout McLean, Woodford, Livingston, and Logan Counties, providing dedicated, personalized representation in both criminal and family law matters.
